Uz šo brīdi Latvijā nav spēkā esošs speciāls normatīvais regulējums mediācijai. Tomēr minētais strīdu risināšanas veids nav jaunums mūsu valstī un tiek plaši pielietots, lai risinātu pušu savstarpējos strīdus.
