Eversheds Sutherland advised the Cherkizovo Group on its RUB 4.5 bn acquisition of the #1 poultry producer in the Altai Region

    We provided full legal support to the Cherkizovo Group in connection with its acquisition of Altaisky Broiler, which is the largest poultry producer in the Altai Territory, and one of the largest poultry producing companies in Siberia. Our services included drafting all contractual and pre-contractual documentation, conducting a full legal due diligence of the target and providing legal support during all stages of extensive negotiations.

    The Cherkizovo Group (MOEX: GCHE) is the largest vertically integrated meat producer in Russia. This acquisition will enable Cherkizovo to access the Siberian poultry market and strengthen its leading position on the Russian market.
