Eversheds Sutherland Russia is welcoming Alexander Gavrilov as new senior associate in the antitrust practice. Alexander Gavrilov has considerable experience giving advice to Russian and international companies on various commercial and antitrust matters, advertising, trade law and public procurement issues. Alexander has extensive knowledge of different industries, with a focus on the pharmaceutical and medical devices markets, FMCG and the retail sector.
Victoria Goldman, Managing Partner of Eversheds Sutherland Russia, said: "I am very pleased to welcome Alexander to our team, who is an excellent specialist. Further developing our antitrust practice is an important step for our firm’s growth strategy. We are strengthening our competence daily, and this is having a notable effect improving our position on the Russian legal market. Our main goal will always be to provide our clients with the highest possible quality of complex legal support and Alexander will certainly be of great help to achieve this. I wish our new colleague good luck."
Alexander Gavrilov commented: "I am happy to join Eversheds Sutherland’s team and take part in its development on the Russian market. I am thankful for the confidence shown to me by the management and my new colleagues, and for the opportunity to apply my practical experience in competition law. A variety of commercial matters and practices may be subject to antitrust rules and regulations, and companies within diverse industries and business sectors may at some point face antitrust issues. Russian antitrust legislation has a complex nature and is prone to regular amendments. Given that, together with my new colleagues we look forward to assisting our clients in evaluating potential risks and finding a reasonable commercial solution, that will allow them to prevent or mitigate potential negative consequences for the company and achieve compliance with applicable legislation."
