    Eversheds Sutherland (International) announced that Pamela Thompson has been elected Chair for a term of four years. Pamela will take on the position on 1 May 2018, succeeding Paul Smith who did not stand for re-election.

    Pamela is Head of the Financial Services product team. Her main areas of practice are investment fund structuring and establishment and financial services regulatory work.  

    Lee Ranson, CEO, commented,

    “On behalf of the firm I would like to congratulate Pamela on her election as Chair. She is a very well-respected and experienced leader, committed to our people and our clients in equal measure and to building Eversheds Sutherland in to the firm we want it to be.

    "In advance of the completion of his term, I would also like to thank Paul Smith for his outstanding service to the firm as Chair.  Having a Chair of the calibre of Paul has been of huge benefit to us all.”
