Eversheds comment: Breakthrough in India and US trade talks catalyst for EU deal?

    Commenting on news of a breakthrough in trade talks between India and the US Parmjit Singh, head of India business group at law firm Eversheds, says:

    “This is good news for global trade, sending out a positive signal that India is open for business and that the new India Government's policy of 'Make in India' has some substance.

    “The EU will be looking upon this latest development to, hopefully, be a catalyst for the EU and India trade talks to gain momentum over the coming months.”
