6th Competition Law Congress

The 6th Competition Law Congress, organized by Bonnier Business Polska, will be held on 25–26 October 2012 at Le Méridien Bristol Hotel in Warsaw.

The conference is divided into three thematic modules:

  • The latest proposed changes in law
  • The latest judicial and regulatory cases
  • Competition law in practice—experiences of Polish businesses.

In each of the modules, experts will share their knowledge and practical experiences, drawing on an analysis of selected cases. The event is designed for CEOs, management boards, directors of in-house legal departments, advocates, legal advisers, and others interested in the field of competition law.

Our law firm will be represented by attorney at law Małgorzata Modzelewska de Raad, who heads the firm’s Competition Law and Litigation teams. During her presentation on new legal institutions included in proposed amendments to the Act on Competition and Consumer Protection, she will discuss:

  • Changes in the scope of merger review
  • Changes in anti-monopoly procedure
  • New instruments for uncovering anti-competitive practices
  • New sanctions for violation of competition law.
