Harj is an Associate in our Commercial team who has experience with negotiating, drafting and advising on a range of commercial and IT contracts, including outsourcing, framework agreements and service agreements. Harj has also done a six month secondment within a client’s legal team.

Harj’s recent experience includes:

  • carrying out due diligence on commercial and IT contracts in the context of Corporate transactions, including a detailed IT due diligence exercise for a water company client for a recent strategic and high value acquisition;
  • drafting and negotiating transitional services agreements to facilitate the ongoing provision of IT services in the context of corporate transactions;
  • reviewing and amending a client’s template framework agreement and statement of work to be used across its business for procuring IT services;
  • drafting and negotiating a facilities management agreement for a newly built data centre;
  • supporting clients on business-as-usual contracts on a retainer basis, acting as an extension of their in-house legal teams;
  • acting for a client in relation to the outsourcing of its finance and HR functions across the business; and
  • reviewing and advising on software licences and SaaS agreements.
