Practice notes

Tülay has been working with Eversheds Sutherland (Austria) since March 2018, since November 2018 she has been admitted to the bar.

She specializes in employment and labour law, family law and litigation. Her recent experience includes: advising national and international companies in relation to its disputes and employment matters.

Before joining Eversheds Sutherland she studied law at the University of Vienna, with a focus on labour law. During her studies Tülay could gain valuable professional experiences in the Austrian Chamber of Labour. Furthermore she gave lectures on Austrian employment law for the Municipal Department of Integration and Diversity and made several translations as German Turkish interpreter for an administrative authority.

Following her judicial clerkship she worked as an associate for a law firm specialized in family law. After her bar exam in January 2016 she worked as a senior associate specialised in labour law with focus on working time regulations for an international law firm in Vienna.

Tülay Cakir ist seit März 2018 für Eversheds Sutherland tätig. Als Rechtsanwältin ist sie seit November 2018 eingetragen.

Sie ist auf Arbeitsrecht und Familienrecht sowie die Vertretung von Klienten vor Gericht spezialisiert. Sie berät nationale und internationale Unternehmen in zivil- und arbeitsrechtlichen Angelegenheiten.

Zuvor absolvierte sie das Studium der Rechtswissenschaften an der Universität Wien mit dem Schwerpunkt Arbeitsrecht. Während ihres Studiums konnte sie wertvolle Erfahrungen in der Arbeitsrechtabteilung der Kammer für Arbeiter- und Angestellte Wien und einem renommierten Unternehmen sammeln. Weiters war sie als Vortragende und Dolmetscherin (Türkisch Deutsch) für eine Verwaltungsbehörde tätig.

Nach dem Gerichtsjahr war sie in einer renommierten Kanzlei für Familienrecht in Wien beschäftigt. Nach erfolgreicher Ablegung der Rechtsanwaltsprüfung im Jänner 2016 arbeitete sie mit dem Schwerpunkt Arbeitszeitrecht in einer internationalen Wirtschaftskanzlei.
