Viviane has a strong experience of more than 15 years in the funds field. Beside her collaboration with first tier law firms in Luxembourg, she also worked for well established Luxembourg banks collecting a deep operational knowledge.
Viviane advises an international range of clients on all investment funds related matters, including the corporate and regulatory aspects of the structuring, creating and distributing of funds. Viviane's experience in funds matters (amongst others) includes: the re-organisation of funds, the set-up of appropriate substance models, the participation in the due diligence process on a business in merger and acquisition operations and the drafting of agreements.
She specialises on traditional assets funds such as UCITS, Luxembourg Part II Funds and SIF funds, but also on funds investing in IP rights such as royalties. Her experience includes the review of the service providers agreements and their negotiation.
Viviane is an active member of ALFI (Luxembourg Investment funds Association) working groups and has participated in the drafting of the Luxembourg FATCA intergovernmental agreement. She is teaching at the IFBL (Luxembourg educational centre for banking matters) on investment funds..
