Practice notes
Sakura is a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney in our Branding Group.
Prior to joining Eversheds, Sakura qualified as a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney at a national firm of Trade Mark and Patent Attorneys. Prior to that, Sakura qualified as a solicitor, specialising in intellectual property law at a boutique IP firm. She entered the profession in 2013.
Sakura has experience in IP litigation, particularly in relation to trade marks and passing off actions and disputes. She works on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious trade mark matters including international trade mark portfolio management, filing programmes and renewal strategies for clients, in addition to advising on trade mark infringement matters. In addition to trade mark matters, Sakura advises clients in relation to copyright and design issues and domain name infringement.
In addition to fee earning, Sakura volunteers for the nationwide Inspiring the Future campaign, which encourages young people and especially girls into science and law based careers.
Sakura is a member of CITMA.
