Kārlis Jēkabs is a paralegal who supports mainly our Banking and Finance as well as the Corporate and Commercial practice groups.

Kārlis Jēkabs has gained experience in the banking and finance area related to the regulatory environment, payments, sanctions, AML/CFT/CPF, as well as listing companies on the regulated and alternative markets of the stock exchange. Kārlis Jēkabs also supports the team by conducting legal research on regulatory matters, including the application and transposition of EU Regulations and Directives, and disclosure requirements of listed companies.

Kārlis Jēkabs has participated in various projects related to commercial law, management and share transfer of listed companies, the listing of companies on the stock exchange. He has also gained experience in AML/CFT/CPF projects, specializing in legal research and argumentation.

Kārlis Jēkabs is currently in the process of obtaining a Master’s degree in law at the University of Latvia.
