Anna Lapshina is an associate in our Intellectual Property Practice who focuses on intellectual property disputes. She has experience in litigating complex disputes related to violations of trademark rights and the registration of trademarks, as well as disputes related to protection of copyrights on software and designed objects.

Some of Anna's recent representations include:

  • successfully protected the interests of a major international manufacturer of children's toys and juvenile products in disputes connected with copyright infringement, including disputes related to the unlawful usage of trademarks in domain names
  • represented the interests of a number of major foreign developers and rightsholders of software in disputes on copyright infringement (through the long-term antipiracy-programmes)
  • successfully represented the interests of a major developer and manufacturer of aesthetic medical products in a dispute concerning challenging the former counterparty’s key trademark
  • providing legal advice to several major companies on various aspects of protection trademarks, copyrights and industrial designs

Anna advises clients on unfair competition matters and data protection matters. Her relevant experience includes successful representation of interests of a foreign association of alcohol beverage producers in cases related to unfair competition in the Federal Antimonopoly Service, providing legal advice to a number of major companies on various aspects of compliance with the legislation on personal data protection, including participation in the complex audit on compliance with the law on personal data protection for a major Russian web portal offering numerous online services.

Additionally, Anna has experience of participating in general commercial litigation disputes and international commercial arbitrations.
